Product Description
The 40G QSFP+ LR4 optical transceiver module is designed for medium to long-distance interconnects in data centers, complying with the IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-LR4 Ethernet transmission protocol. It is available in a dual-rate version supporting both 40GE and OTU3. This product series features an integrated pair of 4-channel MUX and DEMUX, with the center wavelengths of the four channels being 1271nm, 1291nm, 1311nm, and 1331nm. It utilizes a pair of single-mode fibers for transmission, allowing for distances of up to 2km, 10km, or 20km
- Utilizes QSFP+ hot-pluggable form factor for a 4-channel optical module (available in both transceiver and receiver-only DPI versions)
- Features 4-channel non-cooled CWDM DML lasers and high-sensitivity PIN-TIA
- Uses multiplexers and demultiplexers based on TFF or AAWG technology
- Compliant with QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-LR4 Ethernet transmission protocol
- Maximum transmission rate of up to 41.25Gbps (optional 40GE/OTU3 dual-rate version)
- Transmits over a pair of single-mode fibers with distances of up to 2km, 10km, or 20km
